SO! Here I am at home kids. Just flexing. As in just hanging about. Doing not a lot.

I am officially unemployed [insert whoot! and/or crap! here, depending on the mood].

Admittedly I had had enough of the 9 to 5 for the time being, but personally I would have stuck it out until at least we had bought another house, now that we had finally sold ( Read more... )

It sounds like being unemployed is both good and bad for you at the moment!! I'm sure it will all work out though...

Personally, I'm over my job, but I just fantasise about not working here any more, rather than actually doing anything about it haha :p

Also, that song!! I had completely forgotten about it and then when I saw it in your post, all the words came flooding back to me!! I love when that happens...

I guess all things happen for a reason, so hopefully something will come to light - I have no doubt it's meant to be like this for whatever reason. I wouldn't have done anything about it myself, so my hand was forced in this way. I was over it, so i probably brought it on myself - the lesson is "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR"

It is a great song huh? I don't know if you've ever watched "The L Word" (its a fantastic show, if you haven't you NEED to check it out, seriously) anyway if you do, I only found out yesterday thanks to the ever helpful Mr Google that Alice from the L Word is a founding member of The Murmurs (who FYI since 2001 are now known as "Gush").

I've always feel like it's a bad omen when somebody says "at least we've got out health", I don't know why. But I really do hope that you still have your health, and there's one way to keep that up.....

I know what you mean Andy I am a bit the same way (JINX), and yeah, fitness instruction will hopefully keep my health up there. What about YOUR health young man, are you feeling ok now?

my health is fine, couldn't be better. it was a bit of a freakish sacre though. the weather in vietnam is awesome and I'm having as awesome time! hope australia is treating everybody well

This is my first week off. They told me on Friday week before last and offered to pay me for the next 2 weeks but i didn't have to come in if i didn't want. I went in last week, just to finalise stuff because i do have a work ethic, but decided that one week was enough and finished up last Friday when i basically just collected the last of my stuff, downloaded a billion pictures, emails etc and left. So they will pay me for this week and that's it.

hey hon. sorry to read this but it sounds like you are on top of things! did you make it down to melbourne? things will be ok, i find things always turn out ok, well they tend to for me.

i have nothing to report. things are getting busy,as always this time o year.
