elections!
Elections were pretty exciting. Cook-Kallio won a seat for Pleasanton City Council, so that was pretty cool to hear about. Also, Democrats won the majority in the House and for the most part in the Senate as well. It was kind of neat to see that they took 229 seats or so even after most people stated a few months ago that they wouldn't be able to win the majority. I guess this election was more easy to follow since being in WTP helps you keep up with most of what's going on. Yep.
WTP presentation wasn't bad today. The Q&A turned out to be not so bad, which was a definite plus. C-K was laughing through most of it, since Jovie is pretty hilarious. I'm hoping I'll be able to memorize more and more Supreme Court cases within time in order to use them as examples during Q&A. That'll definitely help a lot.
Periods 2, 4, and 6 tmrw, and then Kimmie's going to be home! woo woo. No school on Friday either, but there's a big anniversary party at my family friend's house that I have to be at. I need to finish all my UC essays ... pretty much this weekend. Stanford's application is due December 15th! Jeez, lots to work on in the next couple weeks, not to mention SATs on December 2nd. That's right after Regional Competition too, ok. Done.
