This is very lovely. Sestinas are one of my favourite kinds of poems, and yours is gentle and sad and hope-full and very apt.

I wasn't sure whether to include the explanation of what a Sestina is, but I've had so many people who have given me a funny look and said "you're just repeating the same words, that's not that same as rhyming you know" when they don't recognise the form :P So you'll forgive me when I'm excited that you know the form :) Awesome!!!!
