Hi, noob here. I'm having a DS renaissance and reading the last post on Victoria made me itch to post about VS - just a couple of things that bug me and one thing I love.
- One apparent plot-hole is the phone call Victoria makes to Jolly. Ray and Fraser break into Jolly's hotel room, discover that Jolly knows Ray's address, ring Victoria at Ray's and send her to the zoo. She tears out straight away.
In the next episode Ray tells Fraser that Victoria made a call, from Ray's house, to Jolly, 15 minutes before F&R got to his hotel: "She didn't leave anything to chance." How then did Jolly know to go to the zoo? If Victoria sent him there, isn't it a massive coincidence that Fraser suggests the same place to her?
She also grabs the banister and picks up the phone barehanded, then runs out without wiping her prints.
- Another thing, but this could just be me being dense: how does Fraser know she's going to the station? He sees tickets when he's in her her car, but aren't they airline tickets?
- One thing I really love - it's always snowing for Fraser when Victoria is around. We don't see any snow from V's POV, but Victoria is always cold.
- Another thing I love and hate: Paul Gross crying = me in floods of tears. It's not just limited to DS, though. I watched a bit of Chasing Rainbows the other day, just skimming it, came across him crying, and promptly lost it. Same with Slings and Arrows. Why?! Make him stop!
