What a strange day for a Monday
This weekend was one of relaxation. I watched four movies, played a lot of video games, and went swimming. It's good to leave Digipen behind when the weekend comes, so you can feel recharged and ready for the following week. With any luck, the SSBM club that I'm trying to get off the ground will be up and running this week.
On a retarded note, what the fuck is this? When I went to Teriyaki with mop and sean a few weeks ago, the remark 'bonus chicken' was made, and I assumed it was made up on the spot. Now I see that this is a joke extended far beyond its boundaries of humor. Nothing like subtle racism to help the digestion.
As I mentioned earlier, I watched some movies over the weekend. They were: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (already saw it, but I really like Charlie Kaufman), The 25th Hour, Jakob the Liar, and The Quiet American (the new one, with Michael Caine). It was a good run, and it made me kind of want to keep a running series of reviews in my LJ, but that would take a really long time, so I'm not sure if I want to prorate this.
I've been working on some Lua stuff to make my dynamic data loader for the game, and it's really quite a refreshing language in which to write. It's GC, typeless, and first-class variable-enabled. Of course, it's interpreted too, but that allows for some truly awesome simulated polymorphism.
A thought occurs: I wonder if I could get my hands on a capture card to record matches played in the SSBM club... HMMMMM...
