I seem to have found myself with an abundance of free time, as I was able to test out of the "mandatory" English class the school has recently instituted. And considering I have a nice set of clubs that have never been used, it seems high time for me to start golfing again. I don't suppose anyone else plays, do they?

Well, year 2 of med school is now underway. People are certainly much more mature this year, I think last year weeded out the weak ones. Thank goodness for that.

Hard to believe Valentine's day is tomorrow already. Where did the time go? Perhaps swallowed up in studying for finals and plans for the wedding. Nevertheless, Masa, I hope a nice dinner out will be enough. The date snuck up on me too fast to plan anything as elaborate as last year. Love you, Petenshi~

Anyone ever felt like you're being punished for having summer break? It is officially summer break. Now all I need to do is get everything packed and ready to go to Okinawa.

Summer break is so close I can almost taste it.

There are days where I'm quite certain I'd rather drive a rusty nail through my foot than do group projects. Today is one of them. And if the so called "prodigy" in my group who is nineteen does not stop calling me an old man, I may not be held responsible for my actions.

Ugh, now I remember why I took a year off school. The constant pressure of homework, the annoying classmates, all of it. There are days that I just want to stay home and do it all online.

Thank god the semester has barely started. Today was one of my short days and I ended up missing class because I got there, got everything out to take notes, and realized I had a hitch hiker. Yes, Bond climbed into my backpack this morning, and since I was running a bit late getting out the door, I didn't know he was in there until I was in class. ( Read more... )

I've finally gotten the last of the boxes unpacked. My parents were very, very generous about helping me out with this apartment. It's not huge, but it's big enough for me and thankfully all the furniture Mother thought that I need. I'm also registered for my spring classes, and school isn't costing a dime for me or my family.
