you know the feeling in your chest when you remember something that made your heart beat faster? like there's a butterfly trapped in your ribcage, fluttering against the bones?

i had that feeling carry me through my saturday.

i feel like i'm still waiting for life to start. and it's not because i don't know what i want to do, but because making it happen isn't necessarily in my power. ...idk if this is relevant, but it felt it.
