I'm not going to be stranded on Xmas
I just booked a Hostel in Manly which is just outside of Sydney Central. The place is right next to two beaches and in between to Parks. The best part is that the place just openned up and it's a part of a hostel chain in Australia that looks like they keep their hostels well maintained. If everything goes as planned this Christmas should go pretty well even though I'm not going to be in Canada for it.
Gotten used to the whole no Christmas thing with the family since over the past 5 years I've been working it or in another country. The only thing I did miss out on was the Christmas dinner that I'm soooooo fond of. But I'm sure the BBQ that will be prepared will be just as good which will be followed up with some lieing on the beach and swiming in the ocean. Hope I can handle it....
