If that's not love, then what is? If that's not friendship, then what is?

Ok, so... Pep rally yesterday. The defining moment of which, I would say, was some of my teachers dancing to Soulja Boy... Anyway, the real reason I like the homecoming pep rally is because the band gets to march through the halls. Admittedly, rather disorganized in starting, and the drummers (I'm sorry, the snare line really needs to figure out what the hell they're doing) didn't tap us off for the tune we were playing half the time. Beth had to count off, and of course then there were five different speeds of tune, and we all had to adjust our marching in four beats... And of course they picked a cadence without an end. Lovely. So they never ended together. But I was watching the snare line while they were playing most of the time in the gym and they really didn't look like they were doing anything hard. But, marching through the halls, oh sweet Jesus, but the drumline was hot. Mellos are usually right behind the trombones, but because the DMs were organizing us and not Turner, we ended up behind all the other brass and in front of the drums. Oh gosh... I wanna be on the drumline so bad...

...I want soda...

So then we had a game last night. Actually, before I went to the school, I got my hair cut. Woot. Anyway, so I got to hang around the school for a bit before the game. And I found five bucks in my band uniform. I love doing that. And on the bus on the way to the game (and back), despite Turner assigning certain sections to certain sections, Wilson sat with me again. :D And in the stands. Ooh, and there were eighty-bajillion old seniors hanging around all night. And we pretty much steamrolled Warhill. It'll never happy again, but it was pretty cool. (Actually the game itself was kind of dull, if only because...shit, we just bowled them over.)

So Wilson, PJ, Emily and I all went to IHOP after the game (we got back early, so we had plenty of time, which was cool). And apparently half the rest of the band has a habit of going there after games, too. That was pretty cool. And Wilson started beating one of the drumline's cadences on the table with his knife...so PJ, Emily and I started singing... And then we ended up singing the beginning of the show. I feel bad for the people around us. (Mostly because they just aren't as much fun as us. :DDD )

Yep. So that was supah fun. And homecoming is tonight. And since David's working behind me so I have to use headphones up here, and because I still want a soda because of the Junior Senior video I just watched on youtube, I'm done.
