I'm learning how to type with one hand.
I broke the hell out of my hand. I've never broken a bone before, and it didn't feel like what I thought it would feel like. I was skating at a skate park in Oklahoma. I barely even fell. It doesn't really make much sense to me seeing as I've fallen way harder than that many times before. The skateboard just kinda slipped out from under me, as I'm sure you've experienced if you've ever spent a couple of minutes trying to stand on a skateboard. I put my left hand behind me to catch myself and hit my ass on the concrete. But when I jumped up to get back on my board I noticed my wrist was shaped like a lightning bolt. It really scared me cause it didn't hurt really, and I was afraid maybe I had damaged a nerve or something. The front of my wrist had a tiny bit of bone poking through so there was a tiny bit of blood, but not much. The Doctor set my wrist, and they said I need surgery to put the rest of it back together so it will heal properly. If I don't get the surgery within the next 2 weeks I will lose normal mobility in my wrist because the break goes through the joint. That would prohibit me from playing guitar according to the doctor, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one. On the bright side the pain meds are kinda working better than they were. I need a different job now too I guess.
