So, we had to end the fast early. Previously, JT and I thought that this endeavor would save us money, but when Grade B Maple Syrup costs 20$ a bottle, and the bottles last you less than 2 days for 2 people, we realized different. We ended up going 6 days, but I feel like I got out of it what I needed. Time to think was the biggest thing. I owe a lot to this fast, because it helped me put everything going on in perspective and realize what I really want to do with the joke admirably dubbed "college." So, I got that goin' for me.
I advise everyone to at least try because you don't know what life is like when you don't eat. Food is a necessity, but without it, your body seems to go into some sort of infantile state. I feel physically like I did in middle school and, along with that, my jumbled life cluttered with smoke and empty bottles has become a lot clearer. Master cleanse, I thank you.
Here's to starting anew. Cliche intended.
