It's been awhile since I wrote any poetry..

Piano Love

White ivories laced with ebony ribbons.
I trace the half-step, the
Whole
step, the high, and low.
They whisper:
Play. The melody that you want to play and
disregard the whispers and mumbles.
Tell
us what you feel, what you think,
Take one breath.
Take one step.
Begin.
Same old waltz. Same old dance.
Knew of nothing else.
1-2-3. 1-2-3.
Mi-re-do-do-so- mi.
Then
5-6-7-8. 1-2-3-4, Bam.
Staccato. 16th-note runs. Allegro.
Eyes catch the other for the
first
Time, Blush and Shudder.
Patter, Patter, patter.
The heart flutters at such
emotion.
Too soon. Too much.
Silver platter love.
Escalate. Crescendo. The song
Modulates.
Minor key. Harsh dissonance. Sorrow.
Tears keep the beat of this song.
Drip-Drop-Drop-Drop.
Watched you caress her hair
Love her like there was no one else.
Crying. Screaming. Bleeding.
Trills Trills furiously play.
Mesh. Mesh. Sharps. Flats.
Tempo to the point of
Madness.
CAESURA.
1-2-3. 1-2-3. 1-2-3.
Square One again.
But this time,
Will not stray from this tempo
Again.
