New Gulf Coast Hurricane

Sep 20, 2005 11:17

For those that don't know, there is another Hurricane heading toward the Gulf coast. At the moment, Hurricane Rita is expected to hit close to the Houston, Texas area. The reason this is a concern is because many of the evacuees from Hurricne Katrina that hit the New Orleans area hard a few short weeks ago are trying to start their lives over in Rita's projected path. Hurricane Rita is expected to be a Catagory 3 when she hits land. That's not the strength that Hurricane Katrina was, but it's still enough to cause significant damage. Keep these people in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this new danger.
