Where did the time go?!!! :os
Well, well, when it rains it pours, and when I get busy - I get damned busy!!! Apparently its been 3 weeks since I last updated this thing, has it really been that long?! Well, a lot has gone on over the last month or so - and things were just plain bonkers before then!
I guess a lot of this madness started in March, around the time of FozzFest II (I blame Fozzie, it’s all his fault! ;oP *Kidding!!!*) Lol. Anyhoo - before heading off to the wilds of Scotland, my paternal Grandfather was taken seriously ill on the eve of his 80th Birthday, I managed to visit him in hospital after his emergency surgery, but he passed away while I was in Scotland… I was rather upset at the time - as I knew he was going to pass away, but my family didn’t tell me until I returned. Since then, my time management seems to have gone outta the window, what with working overtime to pay bills etc (most of March I was on leave - so my dosh ran out…) and trying to sort out shoots and my stage performance meant I had little time for much else, which P’d Jez off some-what (can’t blame him!). That and my old friend Draken came back from ‘The land of no return!’ (AKA Nasty Bitch’s House) and so regained his sanity and I assisted him in getting set up as a tog again…
PA by day, PA by night, and now a PA in the Private Sector!
About 3 weeks ago my contract with the Learning and Skills Council came to an end, but before I could train the new ‘girl’ for the job hand over - I was offered a long term - to - permanent job as a PA with Johnson Control Services (formally York International), they needed me for an almost immediate start. I left the LSC early so that I could take on my new role and ensure my income - working fewer hours, yet earning more money! Damn! What a shame huh?! *Smug!!!* Anyhoo I’ve been here a couple of weeks now, and I still don’t have my own PC!!! (Hence the lack of activity on here during the day - yes I’ve been sat twiddling my thumbs with not much to do (as I’ve not been given all my duties yet) and no LJ to keep me sane! NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! ;o)
Soooooooo, what else have I been up to? Shoot’s, lots of em! A couple of them were group shoots, and a couple of ‘folio building shoots with me old pals Fozzie and Draken, the other shoots were for the togs benefit’s - so I got paid! Rahhhhh - Excellent! Well, I cant afford to do TFCD for every tog that asks, I haven’t got the time - and there’s only a few who’s style I really, really like! So if peeps wanna work with me for their own folio’s or projects - they’ve gotta pay!!! :o) I’m smug though - got a few togs who regularly pay me for shoots, so I’m happy, and my clients are happy with their result! :o)
I’ll be posting my photo updates soon - I’ve just nabbed a PC at work in order to do this post - so haven’t got access to my pics from here… I also need to organise what ones I wanna post - there’s soooo many to choose from!!! ;o) Oh decisions, decisions! ;o)
