Portrait of a Femme Fatal, and the Late Edwina Black
Well, well, that weekend certainly went far too quick for me! So here’s a round up!
Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings - as well as Saturday daytime was spent in the company of my fellow ‘Trinity Players’ performing The Late Edwina Black. Unfortunately it did run in the manner I feared - that is, that my stage partner forgot an awful lot of his lines, and jumped quite a few large speeches - enough to strip approx 40 to 50 mins of the play each time! *Erk!* But hey-ho, I survived and the audience were non-the wiser! (Due to a lot of rescuing by me I must add!!!) I’ve had plenty of positive feedback; apparently I did a very good job of captivating my audience, so I’m pleased with that! Show’s I can do my job properly! :o)
Sunday I visited my friend Vanessa - who’s just been discharged from hospital, she’s been there for over a month, after her crohns disease turned nasty on her and almost killed her - the Dr’s are still contemplating removing her bowel as its that badly effected. Nessa is trying to bring herself back from the brink as we speak - and appears to be coming on leaps and bounds!
