Some of you may have noticed that I haven't updated in while, the rest of you probably didn't care. In any case, the reason is that I've been sick since last weekend. I didn't really do anything terribly exciting.
What have I been up to?
1)
Knights of Omnus is back up and running.
2) I've been working on a new comic I'm planning on starting up. Tentative title is "The Life and Timespace.
3)
My Own Personal Dwight has been keepingme busy for the last few weeks, and trust me, it's only going to get more ridiculous.
4)
This comic has been keeping me entertained all day.
Now for my entertaining story of the night. I got my first paycheck today and to celebrate I decided to take myself out for a fancy dinner. Well... dinner at least. Anyways, I drove over to buffalo wild wings, figuring I'd eat some wings, have a beer, and read for a while, but upon arriving I realized that the environment wasn't really as condusive to reading as I had hoped. There was a Ruby Tuesdays nearby so I went over there thinking that it would be a little quieter.
So I got a table for one (which can be fun), ordered a beer and my meal, and broke out The Two Towers to continue my magical adventure through middle Earth.
Well, wouldn't you know it, my waitress was feeling friendly. Really friendly in fact. I'm naturally attracted to any woman that brings me food, but usually they are not ready to be friendly back. So, she walks up, starts talking to me...
Waitress: Oh, starting a new book tonight.
Me: Yeah... should be an exciting night.
Waitress: What are you reading?
Me: Oh... uh... it's um... lordoftherings...
Waitress: Oh! Cool! Did you hear they're releasing a new collection of tales from middle earth?
Me: Yeah, I... wait. What?
Waitress: I'm a big Tolkien fan. The Hobbit is one of my favorites.
Me: Wow, me too.
So we kinda chatted for the rest of the duration of my meal, on and off as she passed by checking on other patrons. She enjoys graphic novels, I got a few reccommendations from her, etc.
So things are going pretty well, she seems nice, so being the smooth operator that I am... I gave her... my...

website..
Who does that? Ugh. IT WAS RELEVANT TO OUR CONVERSATION! Knights of Omnus is a fantasy comic. We were talking about comics. We were talking about... fantasy stuff. Ah well. She told me to come back sometime. Perhaps I will. I guess I'm just overly dedicated to the promotion of my comic.
Anyways, now I'm watching X-3. It's a fun movie.
