OMG!!! Ocean's 12 and more updates!!!
Well it's been over a week since I last updated, so here we go...last week at school, it was pretty crazy cause I had a final presentation in my Mgmt 495 class and final quizzes, assignments, etc to turn in. I went to a UIC job fair with Manu and it went pretty well, hopefully I'll get a job out of it, lol I gave out a good amount of resumes and got some fun samples from the fair too!
Then, that same week I got another call to be an extra in Ocean's 12! They actually had to re-do some scenes from before, so they called KEL & I back. It was cool, another train scene with George Clooney! KEL and I got another pic with George as he was leaving the set, but this time it actually came out, so my full face is in the pic cause the person who took it knows how to take pics, lol.
Ok, so the most exciting day was yesterday when KEL, her friend Nicole, Manu & I went to the set of Ocean's 12 to watch the action and all 12 were filming!!! We met Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and the rest of the Ocean's 12!!! It was soooooo exciting to see them there and it felt like we were in LA or something and they were just walking the streets, instead it was a not so good neighborhood in Chicago, lol. Brad & Matt were soooo HOT!!! We were there ALL day and it was so tiring, but def worth it! The cast & crew will be leaving at the end of this week and I will be sad to see them go cause it's been exciting that a movie like this with such big actors was filming in Chicago! Not to mention a few other movies filming in town like The Weatherman with Nic Cage, and that John Cusack movie.
Well, today was my last day of actual classes, no more hw, no more projects, no more cases, no more quizzes.....YEAH!!! I have two finals and then I graduate from UIC!!! I am SO excited cause it feels like I've been in college FOREVER!!! I had my last lunch with JCAL today too and it was sentimental for sure, how could it not be with Subway, CCC and our fun convos, business meetings, UIC is quite the place, lol, jk.
I am gonna head to bed cause it's been a long day at school and I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in a couple days, so I'm looking forward to that!
P.S. To KEL & Jen, it's amazing that 2 years ago today I met you guys at Tower Records for Vi3's record release party for "Go-Get-Her". Thank you girls so much for everything and for being such amazing friends!!! Oh and two years ago today it was officially announced that Vi3 broke up....wow have things changed!
