(no subject)
Today I had Korean food. Bulgogi and kimchee and rice. Ugh, it was so delicious.
And to fill the rest of this with a little substance, how about a
1. I love Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Not the new one, but the cartoon. It's fabulously colorful and I wish I owned it on DVD, augh. My sister taped over our copy of it, so I'm Alice-less for now.
2. Lizzie is my best friend. I hang out with her more often than anyone else I know.
3. There are days when I go, "oh shoot I need to check my flist NOW" and days when I'm too lazy to.
4. But if I don't check my flist, I get up to like skip=300 really easily.
5. I love shoes, but I have wide feet so I can't wear a lot of them. Whenever I find shoes that fit, I get really excited. XD;; My current goal: finding a pair of nice gladiator sandals.
6. I also love clothes, but I like Japanese fashion more than American. It's hard to find clothes that fit that sort of style here though.
7. I hate socks.
8. The last real book I read fully was earlier this year. I feel so uncouth.
9. I love diet Coke like none other but it's bad for my voice so I try not to drink it too much. So far, I have been unsuccessful.
10. I desperately want to dye my hair brown. My mother remains firm in saying "No."
11. Blue eyeshadow makes me want to kick things.
12. My parents always tell me that I'm too smart to be so lazy. idek, I don't want to be any less lazy.
13. People always make fun of me for being OCD about the weirdest things, like how eggs are placed in a carton or whether or not things are straight, from hair to clothes.
14. I do not like dancing unless it is of my own choice, mostly because I feel foolish (especially with the dance to "Dancing in the Street" for the choir show).
15. I have had my laptop for a total of 4 years now. I really want a new one.
16. The only reason I don't want to be a chef is because I hate heat.
17. I keep my bangs up all the time at home. They just bother me when they're in my eyes unless I'm at school.
18. I have never been to Disneyland or Disneyworld when everyone else in the state of Illinois apparently has. I feel like a part of me is missing.
19. I watch dramas really, really fast. It took me less than a week to finish Kuitan, the SP, and season 2.
20. Whenever I watch really sad, sappy dramas, my heart hurts and I feel suddenly encouraged to write sad, sappy fic.
21. Food makes me so, so happy. idek why, but it does.
22. I'm both really shy and really outgoing. I have a lot of trouble opening up to people, but I make friends pretty easily. They just don't get to be close friends. /D;;
23. I have no idea why Ryo/Shige is my favorite pairing. It just... is?
24. I used to think RPS was gross. Ahaha, JE changes things quickly.
25. I like the number 25. It's a quarter of a hundred and half of fifty. It's also fun to look at and write.
26. Running is my least favorite aerobic activity. I just can't run very far or very fast, and it makes my shins, calves, and the arches of my feet really hurt.
27. I have indents on my shins (places where there's just skin over bone) because my calves are so muscular, they're pulling on tendons the wrong way.
28. I really want kids, but I'm afraid of labor. So I'm pulling the line at like, oh, two? Three is pushing it, and four is the limit.
29. Before, I had really bad insomnia and could only sleep for like three or four hours a night. Now, I've gotten to the point where I really need to sleep for five or more hours unless I want to be falling asleep everywhere.
30. If I got of the internet and stopped procrastinating a little bit, I could get so much done. But oh well.
31. My cell phone charm is a plastic replica of the straw doll from the anime Jigoku Shoujo. It's really creepy, but I like it.
32. Sometimes I'm psychic...ish. The day before it was announced that Ryo would be in Chonmage Purin, I mentioned to a friend that Ryo seemed so less busy. She agreed, and then I said, "Unless he has a secret movie project going on..."
33. I rarely wear make up either than concealer and powder foundation, mostly because I'm lazy and partly because my sister wears eyeshadow. And she wears it wrong. D:
34. My cooking skills make ugly food, but it's usually quite delicious.
35. I seem to be in this transitory period in which I haven't the time or inspiration to write or draw anything. I blame school.
36. Reasons I am grateful for my thesis paper: my driver's ed project got its due date a month because I had to do it. :D
37. When I grow up, I want to be a college professor. Not because I want to lecture to kids all day, but because I want to be inspiring and make classes interesting and fun. High school is my next option.
38. idek why, but just watching JE boys do silly things makes me ridiculously happy.
39. I hate watching myself talk because my face looks really fat when I do. It's why I don't do vlogs; otherwise I'd spam you guys with them like crazy.
40. I feel old a lot of the time. It's really only just hit me that I'm younger than... everyone on my flist orz. I'm really afraid to be judged by my age though, so I'm glad I look and act older than I am.
41. I'm sad when people say things like, "ew, tofu!" because tofu is delicious. ;___; The same goes for other Asian foods that Westerners don't like.
42. Today I drove to Lizzie's house and back. I found out that I don't like going at over 35 miles an hour.
43. I really dislike sleeping because dreams are bothersome and irritating, but sometimes they're nice and I always want to know what happens next.
44. I always feel really uncomfortable in churches, even if I'm just going to a wedding. It always feels like I'm intruding on somewhere I'm not supposed to be.
45. One reason I don't want to live in Japan is because I don't like crowded living. I want a big apartment with a lot of space when I grow up.
46. Cities make me happy, as do trains. There's just something about them.
47. I think Kame is creepy. In the best sort of way.
48. I've convinced two people into liking JE. I feel accomplished for that, because one is an avid fan and the other loves Eito. Neither are on LJ, but I figure the fic would scare them off.
49. My parents both work full time and I really wish I could get myself places.
50. I am really glad that this is over.
