I get an experience point! I ate a delicious dinner at Schera's in Elkader. And I had a drink with dinner. I drank absinthe!!!!!
They did the whole presentation schtick, with the sugar cube and the silver slotted spoon and the flame, and it was quite delicious.
I did not hallucinate, which is probably good, as I was there with my parents and brother. It was a strong (and very tasty) drink, and if I'd had more than one and/or hadn't had a meal with it, I would not have been safe to drive.
