A lot of the girls I know are either getting pregnant or boob jobs. I want neither.
My fingernails are driving me mad. MAD, I tell you. I need to cut them and repolish them that pretty purple colour they've been for the past week. I am really excited that Jennifer is about to post again, because my posse has not been updating their LJs regularly, and I miss reading them. Isn't that sad? That I miss it when my lovelies don't post on their livejournals? Oh well.
I've been meeting a lot of new people at school. By new people, I mean clients, even though I have become more social with a bunch of the girls I go to school with. i did a spiral perm on a lady yesterday that teaches nursing at RCCC's North Campus. She was telling me about how they hire models at Duke University (where she went for one of her degrees) just to do exams on - meaning physicals, pelvic exams, etc, and when you did something wrong, the models were so used to being poked and probed that they would let you know what you did wrong. Isn't that insane? They must get paid a lot. She also was telling me about how different men and women are when it comes to getting physicals and the like. Women wrap their gowns around them tightly and tuck the sheets under them, and you have to practically pry their legs open to do an exam, whereas men just drop their pants and don't really give it a second thought. That lady was funny. She liked her hair, and I was proud of myself, seeing as it was my first perm on a live person and it turned out beautifully. I wish I could write everything down that these people say and write a book about it one day. Maybe I'll just leave that up to Laurel.
I already want to change my septum ring. I'm bad about letting piercings fully heal before changing the jewelry, and I doubt this one will be any different. I'll probably give it 3 or 4 weeks and change out the ring in it. I asked a lot of people if they think I have too much metal in my face with my lip ring, and they think it's okay and that it "suits me." So, I guess that's good. I did a good job of hiding it from my mom today. I don't think she's ready for it.
Buddy was really cute today. I wish I could bring him home and let him sleep in my bed with me.
Today, I ordered a new ipod cover and the Adios toy from Tokidoki. I love getting presents from myself in the mail.
I watched Short Circuit last week. I love that movie.
