Maybe I should start playing the lottery?

I'm somewhat broke. By "somewhat" I mean I've got $50 to go until my credit card is maxed out, and $15 in my checking account. Yes, I've got a little bit in my savings account, but that money is for the deposit when I move next Saturday. So, I've got $15 to last me until next Thursday. Fabulous.
My mom was talking to me about money today and asked me how I was doing financially. I told her I was fine, but when she asked me how my savings account was and I told her, she gave me this "OH MY GOD" look. Seriously mom, just keep the fridge stocked and I'll be all right. My money has all been going towards apartment furniture and the like. Mom told me she'd take me grocery shopping for food and things when I move. I think she's somewhat excited to be getting me out of the house. She needs another storage room. (If you have seen my parents' house...you know not to take that last sentence seriously.) I still need living room and bedroom furniture. Hm.
I feel bad, because the only people getting gifts from me this year are my parents. None for my brothers or sister or friends or G. I'm going to try and find the time to make things for people, but I'm afraid I can hardly afford "making" supplies. LAME.

In other news, I figured out a quick way to get my English project done. I should be done in about a day or so. And I think I made an A on my computer test today. All is well on that front.

And Thanksgiving was good. I really really appreciate all of my family. I'm happy I'm not a bitch to them anymore. Haha. I was reading old journal entries today as I was packing, and man, I used to be really really dumb. I had dumb friends, I dated dumb boys, and I was just dumb all the way around. I might have to burn those entries. I'm ashamed of them. But at the same time...they remind me that I've grown a LOT since then. I'm sitting here, at a good job, typing about how I'm making A's in school and I'm about to move. Even though I am temporarily broke, I am grateful for what I have. I still have good credit, I have an awesome boyfriend, spectacular friends, a wonderful family, and for once, I actually like myself. Weird. This time 2 or 3 years ago I was ready to die.

Everything happens for a reason. :)

Update:
This lady I work with, that I don't really know at all (her name is Faya), just came up to me and dropped a magnetic Hello Kitty notepad on my desk. I asked her where it came from and she said "I saw it at the store and remembered from training that you like Hello Kitty."
Awwwwwwww. Training was almost 2 months ago and she still remembered and bought it for me. That was sweet. :)
