Yay! THE MEME SPREADS LIKE A VIRUS.

Okay hmmmmmm

1. I really like citrus sodas. Right now I'm drinking Fresca, but I also like Sunkist. My favorites, though, are Fanta (European formula) and Mirinda (Asian formula).

2. I have some awkward dietary restrictions that I'm not as strict about as I should be. I'm lactose-intolerant, and also...lipid intolerant? The latter being from me having my gallbladder out, which means I have low levels of bile (the stuff that helps you digest fats) moving constantly into my digestive tract, rather than saving it up for when I'm actually eating something fatty. I also avoid caffeine because it gives me sleep paralysis, as well as all the negative side effects; one time I had to have a Pepsi at work (DD's) to stay awake (I work closing shift) and consequently got so paranoid I couldn't go in the walk-in freezer because I was afraid there was a ghost in there. Oh my god I just tl;dr'd all over the place didn't I

3. I have (chronic) bronchitis, which also leads to me hacking up gross things when it is cold out.

QUESTIONS!

1. What is your favorite kind of outing? Like shopping with friends, eating out alone, etc. etc.
2. What kind of movies do you like to watch?
3. Have you ever seen a ghost or etc.?

Exciting things have kept me from this, I'm sorry!

Bronchitis sucks. The gross things that get dislodged from my lungs are not anything I ever want to see, thanks. Bleh.

[1] In springtime, I like to bike around the Springwater Corridor. It connects downtown with one of the trendy little neighborhoods in Portland and runs along the river. There are all sorts of neat things along the trail, like the wetland refuges, the tadpole ponds, and a local, tiny amusement park with a roller rink. I haven't gone to the amusement park yet, but I figure when I move in with my new roommates, we can all go.

Otherwise, I like wandering around downtown with a couple of my friends, grabbing dinner somewhere, and just popping into whatever place looks interesting (ie: all the places.)

[2] Ummm... Horror (mostly foreign since overseas horror films manage to pull off subtle creepy a lot better), Disney, musicals (Moulin Rouge being the current favourite), fairy tale type stuff (Pan's Labyrinth, MirrorMask.) I guess after horror, anything bright, surreal, and with pretty colours/costumes.

[3] Once! My great-grandparents used to own a small Victorian house before they passed away. Between two of the bedrooms was a narrow closet that just gave off really bad vibes, especially if you were in there alone. I remember being very little and using it to pass through one room to the other and seeing a flannel shirt that was out of place. It kind of stuck out, like someone was wearing it and hiding in the clothes and I just got this horrible feeling and ran.

My older cousin, who lived in the house, also saw something similar growing up, as well as her mother, and our great-grandmother. It always felt like there was the presence of a man in the closet. Never did anything, as far as I know, other than little glimpses and that dread feeling, so we have no idea what it/he was, though my cousin swears it was a poltergeist.
