Rocko got caught by a red light camera, and has the option of taking a traffic school course to get out of the ticket.
A quick search of traffic schools reveals a disappointing number of comedy traffic schools. (454,000 results on google). I had no idea these things existed.
I'm probably more disgusted than I should be. Many people are stupid with no attention span, so this is probably the only way to get them to take the course. But I feel like we should expect people to exhibit a certain degree of maturity and seriousness when dealing with the law. I don't especially like sharing the road with people who can't act like an adult long enough to take a four-hour course.
It just feels a little too much like Idiocracy when we use goofy cartoons to chastise and rehabilitate people who break the law.
