I've heard it, but not often, and it's usually tongue-in-cheek. Heard 'posh' used the same way, a bit more often.
"Fancy" would be more common 'round here, especially as "Well, ain't this just fancy," with a heavily sarcastic tone. Sometimes with a fake drawl.

Classy might work, although I tend to use it sarcastically.

Thanks, classy might work too, its supposed to be sarcastic so that's a bonus.

I would use "swanky" before I used "posh." "Fancy" works as well, and would probably be better.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna toss a coin between fancy and classy :)

Well I'm aiming for sarcasm, so a little retro won't hurt :) Thanks for your imput.

Uh... I'm not really sure what you mean by the words 'posh' or 'swanky'. Generally where I live (midwest US) I'd say I've never heard them used any way but sincerely. What kind of meaning are you trying to imply?

They both mean upmarket or high class.
I'm gonna go with fancy I think, but thanks for your imput. I think its safe to say swanky is not a common word over there :)
