Help, please?
Hi guys, in need of a little help again *g*.
Is 'Swanky' a word that would be used for posh in the US? It sounds kinda American, but then I know my friends and I (in the UK) use it in a more or less sarcastic, or tongue in cheek way, so now I'm not sure.
If not, are there any equivilent words that could be used. I'm aiming for a character who thinks something is posh to downplay it because of her jealousy.
