Parenthood
Spent the afternoon with Harold, Heather and their kids Nathan and Madeline. Harold moved our A/C (which was much appreciated!) and then we all went down to the waterfront for food. Autumn is a time of change for me. A lot of important milestones get celebrated:
- Today: one year in our house
- This week: one year with our girls: Charlotte, Q-bit, and Annie.
- Next month: one more year of Mel
- November: one more year of marriage

- Saturday is my last day at my current job. Good-bye mainframe issues, Windows issues, file transmission issues, and working every Saturday.
- Monday is my first day at my new job. Hello UNIX issues, on-call rotation, and escalations from my former group.
