I didn't realize how much taxes and insurance adds to your house costs.  People (homeowners) are always telling me to stop throwing my money away on rent, but I look at taxes and insurances as the same thing.  Sure you get something for insurance, but you don't need it for rent, so it's basically the same.  Add on top of that the amount you pay in ( Read more... )
