satisfaction
Work has been going better and better. I got transferred into the department that I wanted to be in today. Now I have a good bit of leverage to stay doing the thing I like to do (logic design). And I also do that stuff the best. For the first time I feel like I'm doing really really well at my job. I don't think I've ever felt that way before. However, some bad news is that they are shrinking our cubicle sizes - from 8x8 to 6x6. ouch. basically the area of a king size bed. kind of a downgrade after having my own office with a window. but i knew there would be trade-offs. this week i've already worked 41 hours, so i'm sleeping in tomorrow. i'll probably go in and work 3 hours tomorrow, and then carry 4 hours flex time to next week. i worked 12 hours today. i know a little crazy, but i don't mind at all because it means i can work 3 hours on a friday. and next friday is off. EXCEPT my stuff finally shows up next friday. thank god - i finally stop living out of a suitcase.
I did finally get one response back from a girl, but the next day she took down her profile for some reason. maybe she will be back. maybe she made some change they wouldn't clear, so they suspended her profile. so i'll just keep plugging away. I keep thinking maybe I should change my profile. It's probably a bit too silly. most women are probably look for light-hearted friendly guys. not dorky and kinda strange guys.
