i'm bored
well art here ya go finally an update on lj! haha
well everything in the life of Jorge is going ok. Lets see why
On Jan 5 was the last time i would party (at least for awhile) with my great buddy art because he was going disney world to do their internship program. that was a fun night! pics at facebook!!! haha it would also be the last time i drink for about a month because...
On Jan. 7 i had acl reconstructive knee surgery on my left knee. back in the summer i was stupid and didn't stretch b4 we played football and i tore my ligament while jumping for a ball. Some advice for all... always stretch! EVEN IF YOU PLAY AN 80 YEAR OLD GRANDMA STILL DO IT! talking to other people who have had the same surger the same thing happened to them.
so the week i had my surgery all i did was sleep and watch tv. the painkillers made me not want to eat. the one thing i hate about this damn writers strike is that all mtv is playing for the past 3 weeks is americas next fucking model! omg!!!! i've resorted to watching my boxed sets of the oc, laguna beach, family guy, seinfeld, etc. plus if you type in "bootleg" to google, it gives you some pretty awesome websites that have all the current movies. Heres my little reviews:
Good Luck Chuck: I love jessica alba, enough said
American Pie Beta House: haha pretty funny but do not recommend buying it
Juno: its ok, yes i said it. Award worthy but all i've heard from people is that this movie is sooooooo funny. i didn't think so, you want funny watch superbad! haha
Cloverfield: I thought it was a great movie! if you haven't seen if, if you wanna see it just to find out wtf the monster is you'll be dissappointed, its just a monster, nothing special! but i liked it a lot, the actress that plays the girl trapped in her apt. is sooooooooo pretty! i fell in love :)
i can't remember what other movies i saw but those were the main ones.
So school started. i was terrified because i could bearly moving the saturday b4 school started. i was considering dropping the semester but no i stuck it out. graduating in 4 years is a huge goal of mine. to be able to work full time for four years and go to school full time for four years would be a huge accomplishment for myself. thanks to physical therapy i was able to start walking with my crutches to classes to that helped out a lot.
She prolly won't read this but i have to give a HUGE thanks to Maureen. she took me to school tuesday and thursday for the first two weeks! that helped out me and my family a lot! this week i didn't have to bug her cuz i can finally drive! haha plus i'm walking without crutches a lot better, just in time for my 21st bday this sunday!
