wow i haven't written in here for awhile, and i do miss it! i have to write in a journal for my political science class about politics, so i think what i'm gonna do is write my everyday life for everyone to see and then in an lj cut write about the political issues going on in el paso. that way if you're interested u could just click the link to read it. and if you could care less about local politics just skip passed it :) see i may have few but i care about my readers! haha
this weekend was pretty eventful. first on friday i went to the community scholars halloween party and had a pretty good time! haha i went as donald trump and joe was dick cheney. we resembled the big figures of the republican party... rich white guys afraid of change :).
so check this out, i was feeling generous and wanted to bid on a silent auction for this authentic dallas cowboy helmet signed by randy white. so my first bid was $250, about half an hour late someone finally outbid me to $260. so i was like ok i really want this helmet and its for charity, so i bid $280. so then they call the one minute warning and no one went back to the helmet so i thought to myself i won this thing! well when they announce the winner this lady (who turns out to be one of the wealthiest people in ep) wins the helmet! the girl who was taking the money asked how much i bid on the item and i told her $280 and she was like omg! she bid $281! i was like wtf! i was sooooo pissed hahaha.
so after that i went to joels halloween party which was awesome! he decorated his house very nice!
saturday was prolly the last football game for me so we tailgated of course. it was pretty fun as usual. we always have a crowd watching us at our tailgates cuz we always do something stupid. like the last game we played wiffle beer haha and that had everyone laughing. this time we got this little kid to dance to soulja boy song. haha i have it on my phone that was pretty funny!
then joel, anthony, ricky and i went to the game cuz the others didn't have tickets. it was pretty fun! we sat pretty close and a couple of people from work sat with us too. UTEP as usual put on a crazy show bearly losing by 3 pts! i think this was prolly the best season ever! even though their bowl chances are gone the games i saw this year were amazing!
today i just relaxed and went car shopping! haha i'm in the market for a new (used) vehicle so hopefully i'll have a new car soon!
