A curious thought.
I don't have total confirmation yet, but my defense will likely be on the 1st of November, which is a Wednesday. This is partly because my advisor teaches classes on Tuesday and Thursday, and so can't have my defense those days.
I then realized.. what's the day before that? Tuesday, the 31st of October: Halloween! Oh, cruel fate! I could have done my dissertation defense in a costume!
Am I the only one who thinks that would be completely awesome?
