In Search of Proof of Paranormal Activity...

A couple of months ago I bought a digital audio recorder off of Ebay for my company, which I sent to one of our contractors in NYC to use (she was recording interviews for one of our clients). I get the recorder back today and go to retrieve the interviews off the thing, and the first audio file is of some guy and (presumably) his wife, recording themselves "scoping out" their new home at 10:30pm for paranormal activity. Here's some of what's on the tape:

Apparently the home was built on top of an old civil war battleground and they'd seen some "visions" where they caught glimpses in their peripheral vision of things (which I think were mostly reflections in windows) and they had some little motorcycle figures mysteriously "fall" off their shelf....But so they're walking around their house for almost 11 minutes and everytime the enter a room they say "Is anybody here?...Anyone here that wishes to communicate?...Don't be afraid of us....Can you show yourself?...Maybe we can help you..." and they keep trying to make every little thing into something unusual "there's light reflecting off the orb..." "I just heard a voice or something, not sure what it was..."

Anyway, there was no evidence of anything on the tape and it appears they gave up after 10 minutes of talking to themselves, but finding this gem was priceless. All of us were in the office at the end of the day and I played the file to make sure I had the interviews I was looking for, and after a few moments of puzzled confusion, followed by intent listening, everyone in the office breaks into hysterics. Shannon, our resident film guru wants to make a YouTube video out of it. I guess we'll see!

Anyway, it's a lesson: if you've recorded something stupid in any way, shape or form, be sure to delete it before selling it, eh?
