Is this what insomnia feels like? I really don't know. I don't think so, though. For whatever reason, though, my body clock seems to be almost entirely reversed. There is nothing in this world that is quite so depressing as waking up alone, looking outside at the beautiful falling snow, and realizing that the one person in all the world next to whom you most wish you were waking, may very well be waking up next to somebody else.

That is all.

So it seems that I will have considerably more time off than I had expected over the holiday season. I have suffered what one might call an unanticipated expansion of leisure hours.
