The long wait wasn't just about the election. The US was waiting for a time when the insurgents wouldn't put up much of a fight. There isn't much for the terrorists to riot over besides the January elections. Earlier in the year, Falluja was a bit too hot to touch. We were exercising a little bit of détente by waiting in Falluja.
Thank goodness that AOL is breaking up. I hate them as much as I hate Microsoft (which is a lot!).
It's great to see Mozilla going forward. We need to topple Microsoft's monopoly over the computing industry.
