[Voice;]

I've... noticed that some have acquired bending skills. I don't know what this place is up to, but as long as I'm here, I won't let anyone hurt another because they can't control their bending.

[Pause, in contemplation.] For those of you who suddenly found out you can bend water, I can teach you how to handle it properly. It's not ( Read more... )

'Bending'? Is that what you call it? I suppose it rather fits, if one is 'bending' these elements to one's will.

You say you know how to handle water, but what about fire?

I'm not exactly a firebender, so I can only just teach the basics of waterbending. There's a different take to every element.

I see. I'd rather hoped the same rules, so to speak, applied for every element.

If rules, you mean the same movements, then no. Firebending requires more powerful moves as opposed to waterbending which is more graceful.

Bending? So would that explain why I'm experiencing a localized earthquake?

Do you think... you're the one doing it?

Why can everyone bend suddenly?

I don't know myself. This must be another one of this place's many tricks.

If teaching first time benders is your thing, then yes.

Uh...Katara?

...I'm not exactly bending water over here...but this morning I sneezed when I woke up, and I shot about 5 feet in the air, and now I can run super fast and I did this neat little air-unicycle thing earlier too.

But I'm also quite lost and confused.

That... sounds a bit like Aang. I mean the air-unicycle. I guess you can airbend just like him.

It's called airbending... I'm sorry, but the person who is an expert on that isn't here.
