Long time, no entry.
I had a minute, so I figured I'd update people who actually read this.
Who: me
What: well, I sent out 25 resumes/applications this week. So far I have a couple nibbles from companies in St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Chicago. A firm in DC is taking a nice big bite, and I think I'm going to let them keep on eating if they think I can satisfy their appetite. In the meantime, I'm still working at GJN as a legal clerk. hard to beat $12/hr to basically job hunt. I'm also finishing my online class this month to graduate officially.
When: the parents are actively trying to dissuade me from doing anything I think I might like, so I am past due for a move-out. With any luck, i'll be in my own place by the end of January in another city. If I get a job here in St. Louis, it just makes sense to live at home and save up for a while, but I don't think I could handle it for too much longer.
Where: at home in St. Louis, living in an increasingly cramped bedroom, hopefully for not much longer.
Why: what a philosophical question.
Otherwise, nothing really new. Things with Lauren are fine. She came out to visit for Halloween, and I'm going out for New Year's, unless i'm magically swept into a job here quickly. So yep. Updated.
