I haven't been watching many movies lately. I really want to see Chicago though...last movies I saw...
Resident Evil - Shut up. I liked this a lot. I ignored everyone but Milla. Enjoyable for what it was. (yeah!)
Stray Dogs - ugh, depressing lesbian movies. Why do people make things like this? This is definitely something that should have stayed in the theatre. It didn't not translate well to film. This is what I get for renting movies simply because Guinever Turner is in it. (pass)
The Hours - very good. you should see it, but then you probably already knew that. I saw this a few weeks ago, so I don't really remember anything specifically. It was a little forced at times. I'm told the book it's based on is excellent. (yeah)
Spiderman - not as enjoyable as I'd hoped, but I still really liked it. Good times. (yeah)
Treading Water - I'm really bored with the whole "coming out" theme, but this movie was actually pretty good. Low-budget lesbiantics, but at least the leads were semi-attractive and the production value didn't totally suck. I hope whoever made this film gets some money to put into their next project. Definitely a good direction for the genre. (yeah!)
The Sweetest Thing - why??? This movie had some funny moments, but overall it seemed like a "small film" that didn't need so many famous people in it. It sort of lost it's charm. I wasn't sure if it was homophobic or what. Parts of it were offensive in a non-funnny way. I sort of want to listen to the commentary because I'm not sure I was jiving with whatever it was they were doing. (neutral)
Movies I have out right now:
The Women
The Count of Monte Cristo
A Boy and His Dog
