plenty of lessons to go around

I just went to the men's restroom! Allow me to start at the beginning. I was walking and eating delicious roasted cauliflower when I dripped some tasty tasty yellow-colored oil (I used turmeric) on my pants. To rectify this I went to the bathroom and dabbed at the spots with soap and then a damp paper towel(the result of this is that now I have oily yellow stains surround by a whitish halo of soap). I felt silly walking around with wet pants so when I happened across bathroom I ducked in and stuck my thigh under the drier. Yes, I did halfway register the urinal in the corner. I just didn't fully register it until I was about to leave. Wow, I just used a lot of words to relay a story with an interesting factor of approximately 3 (out of 10-- that's the interesting factor scale. It is- it is a log scale?). When I was younger I thought it was hilarious to go into the mens restroom. As a consequence I've been in quite a few men's restroom. None of them were as nice as the one I happened into today.

So I met this guy at Espresso Royale. Actually he met me and the gals I was sitting with. I say gals rather than friends because I despise both of them (ha ha j/k yeah that isn't even funny). He talked to us for quite some time and tried to get us to watch a movie we didn't want to see and agreed to watch ANTM with us one day. Oh and then when he left he bought us chocolate which we were afraid might be drugged but ate anyway. Now he's my facebook friend.

School spirit is so odd to me. I really don't have any. I've never been one for group feeling. That's not true because I had school spirit in high school and I still think that school is the berries. I just don't like mass spirit? I don't know. I just need to feel connected to the school to have spirit.

Magnesium chemistry day was much better than Iron chemistry day. I was more relaxed but I also made more mistakes. I'm just not cut out for working with chemicals. Also, I had to use HF i.e. the scariest acid ever. For the rest of the day I was convinced that any slight sensation I felt was the onset of a delayed reaction that would result in death (if not death then just extreme pain). On the plus side, my columns took an hour to drip through so I didn't have to spend as much time sitting in the lab. Instead I went places and ran into cool cats and chicks. Well just one cat, one chick, and one snake. No I'm not kidding! There was a snake in Engineering Hall! I could not believe it. Isn't that crazy?!?! I've never seen a snake in one of the buildings here before. It slithered right under the door. I wish I had a camera on me. It just wanted to learn. Snakes need school too.
