Ever have a problem with something, and suddenly you figure the solution out as you explain it to someone, just from the act of working through an explanation? I do this all the time... "Hey, could you take a look at this error? See, I know it's not due to this thing over here because it, uh, oh wait, nevermind, I see now. Well, uh, thanks for your help!"
Today at lunch the boss was telling us about this group that adopted an amusing strategy to keeping their time from being taken up by people with these sorts of questions: They were to refuse to listen to any question until the asker had explained it in full detail to a large stuffed bunny that sat in the hallway.
That stuff cracks me up.
