When I was in Switzerland, I was always amused by the advertising for my favourite grocery store chain there, Migros.  It was generally pretty cute, and, as is often the case in Switzerland, had a strong emphasis on their devotion to nature and organics.  I found this ad over at Eat Me Daily and thought it was very cute and very typically Swiss.   ( Read more... )

I have started to edit the footage I took at the festival on Saturday and Sunday.  I had enough space for about 40 minutes of video, so it was all little clips, but I have combined them by category and am uploading the videos.

I found two reenacting videos on youtube last night that I felt I should post.  They’re from a WWI event at the Newville site, and while they are at night and thus all you can see are muzzle flashes, I feel they go a long way toward giving folks an idea of the sensory experience of a reenactment, especially at night.  For non-reenactors, the ( Read more... )
