do u know

U know I was at work today and I was watch "We Were Soldiers" and I dont know if u have seen it but if not watch it and dont read anymore. Well at the end of the movie there is a guy in the movie that is there to take pics and write a report about the war that just happened. Well it shows the pics that he took and also shows the life of the soldiers after they get back home. There is no one thee to say welcome back unless they have family back home. The whole point of this LJ is that I dont think that ppl in the service gets any credit for what they do. I got a email from my mom and it had a story in it that said ppl at a airport gave up there seats to the GIs that were coming home from Iraq. Now I dont know if that is true or not but that would be nice if everyone that is over in Iraq could see that in person. Alot of ppl that does not have someone that is away because they are in service or whatever they can not understand that we would love to be at home with are friends or be with are wife and kids. To see that in person it would give them so much joy in the heart to know what they are fighting for. Let me take one example and talk about it. When 9/11 happened there was millions of flags being raised everywhere. Now if u go out and look u will not see all the flags flying on cars or in front of ppls houses. All I am saying is that the more ppl are behind the solders the better there life would be. Even if u dont have a flag in front of your house just do something nice to the ppl that are fighting fr your way of life. I dont think I would be able to do what I do if it was not for my wife and kids back home. My wife takes care of me when I am not able to be home by calling and talking to me on the net. God Bless all the ppl that are fighting for what they believe in and for the way of life that we know.
