(no subject)

So, I did crappy on Saturday and Sunday. Today I still didn't do so well, but better. I only had one meal - lunch - at Souplanataion. I had a large salad of spinach and cucumbers with raspberry vinegar. then a cup of fat-free vegetable soup and a small cup of beef chilli. then I had a few small fatfree muffins (this entire restaurant is fatfree and almost vegetarian, which I hate, because I'd rather have a few normal foods than much styrofoam) and lots of fatfree tapioca pudding. I calculated altogether that it must have been between 1000-1500 calories. that's pretty bad considering how much I ate yesterday. but the important thing is that I got over the binge trend, and tomorrow I can continue on my merry fasting way again. to that tune, here's what I plan to eat tomorrow:
breakfast: half a pound of strawberries (70 cals) and half a pound apricots (100); vitamins
dinner: skinless steamed salmon, 150 cals worth and lots and lots of steamed and fresh vegetables (say, 100 altogether), with soy and vinegar.
and of course lots of yerba mate.

the day after that I want to try wheat germ for breakfast; I've never had it. and I have to start eating my yogurt again. (can we tell I'm a bit of a freak about planning things to the second ahead of time?)

together, around 400. that's the plan. I'm not eating any more processed prepared food because that only leads to bingeing trouble and no end of appetite. the most processed things I agree to eat are oatmeal, yogurt, and ovomaltine. that's it.

other than that, I'll go hunt for work in Los Feliz (finding work is SO hard in LA), go hiking in Griffith, maybe go swimming, send out a letter my dad wants me to. I also have to catch up on lots of emails to people, and keep copying my online diaries into notebook format. Then I have to make dinner for my family - steamed trout, vegetables, and probably something carby for them. If I have time, I want to go to the Amoeba music store. I also have to call a friend of mine here in LA. I also want to do my nails and my eyebrows.

My family doesn't have much money now because its all going into the house so I don't want to waste the 2K I have on a gym membership. what are good excercise things that I can do without a gym membership!? I used to be so spoiled and go to a posh-posh gym, now I'm clueless. public pools are free, so so far what I intend to do all summer is: walk around, hike, maybe go jogging, go swimming. any other ideas? indoor or outdoor. I want to do something every day.

I have to be more focused. I can't waste so much time bullshitting around. I have to do things more methodically. I can't be so mentally and physically scattered. I MUST SIMPLIFY MY LIFE.

my new obssession is drum n'bass and hardcore techno. NOT the ethno-sounding stuff (no! no!) but the electronic sinister-sounding stuff with all kinds of creepy samples. I love it... I know very little about it, but I'm getting into it. if you have a cd to recommend in that genre (hardcore techno) please do! I want to buy some but I don't want to just randomly point and buy.
