Frosty?
So get this..I got promoted at work like back in October to shift manager. Great and all..but now thanks to that I am being given the task to build a snowman out front of the laundrymat to display our new ad for our drycleaning special this month since our marquee signs are buried in snow. So I have one week, $5, and any supplies from the laundrymat to make the best snowman ever. Whoever makes the best one, I'm competing against 2 other girls, gets $20. Now I am excited about it but have no idea where to begin. Help is greatly needed because I really don't want to build a snowman alone. Any takers who want to contribute ideas or labor would be greatly appreciated. I love the fact that being given more responsibility has me doing tasks like this. Sounds oh so fun! HELP!! PLEASE!!
On another note life is going fairly well despite the blizzard. I am really sick of getting up at 5am to go to work and have to stand outside in the cold for 20 minutes and brush off my car because I have to leave it outside in a snow bank. That could all just end any day now. Hibernation sounds like a good alternative...I am doing my best, I get home from work and stay there til the next morning. Sitting around watching Dawson's Creek and drinking lots of coffee and hot chocolate while wrapped up in a blanket. That's about as good as it gets lately.
I am finally getting my butt in gear, a little late might I add, to apply to colleges for next fall. I hope I haven't missed too many deadlines and such because I really just want out of KVCC. I like it cuz I have friends and I'm comfortable, not to mention I live at home and all. But I need to make a change, I am sick of just coasting through and not really accomplishing too much. Ok, I have a good job and I am gonna graduate in the spring with my associates which is awesome..but I need more than this.
