Flying update
I've taken to wearing my 3rd Division scarf to work each day. I'm hoping the power of Smily-Taichou will save me from the rest of the world but, alas, I'm a. still working and b. still waiting to hear whether I got the job I was interviewed for last Thursday so much for them making a decision that afternoon.
Yesterday I finished early because I was in so much pain I could barely stand (cramps, back ache, shoulder ache, etc yeah I don't get the shoulder bit either) and then had to do the lovely journey home on the verge of tears. It takes an hour and a half to commute and that includes walking about two miles >_<; I really wasn't happy yesterday.
However when I did (finally) get home I found I had a parcel! butterfly_eli - I'm seriously contemplating framing that envelope because it's genius. And the bag is beautiful *hugs* I will be taking photos tomorrow ^__^
Aside from my general wonderful-ness, can anyone else think of any reasons why the World Church Office of the Methodist Church should pick me to be part of a trip to Ghana in May?
And lastly, because I'm feeling emotional very attached to all of you right now
