Hark the Herald... Dorridge Methodist Church Choir sing!

Dec 19, 2006 10:39

Sunday - many hours spent at church for rehearsals and the normal morning service and then finally the candlelight carol service in the evening. I couldn't believe how nervous I felt before hand but it went so well, the church was packed, no one fell over their chair as we processed in and I only stumbled over my reading once ^_^; We sang all my favourites and finished with 'O Come All Ye Faithful' which meant lots of very, very high descant singing at the end!

Monday - fangirling with the sister over Gackt and Kime, writing of Christmas fics and playing around with my layout so it's now all purple and stuff.

Today - more writing, but this time about Narnia! I haven't touched this fic for ages and it's entirely my sister's fault for suggesting we watch Rokkamyu last night - Saito decided to take up residence in my brain and refused to leave until I wrote about him. One thousand words later and I think he's satisfied.

And blame juudenkanryou for starting this one...

O come all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant;
O come ye, o come ye
To Tuti.

O Come All Ye Faithful
from the Christmas Song Generator.

I always knew Tuti was heaven sent…

Do not falter, little donkey,
There's a star ahead.
It will guide you, little donkey,
To a Tuti.

Little Donkey
from the Christmas Song Generator.

Or better yet, Tuti is a STAR

We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we travel afar,
Field and fountain,
Moor and mountain,
Following yonder Tuti.

We Three Kings Of Orient Are
from the Christmas Song Generator.

*dies*

Ding dong! verily the sky
Is riv'n with Tuti singing.

Ding Dong Merrily on High
from the Christmas Song Generator.

That’ll be a short embrace then...

With true love and Regina
Each other now embrace.

God rest ye merry, gentlemen
from the Christmas Song Generator.

She prefers this one though

O Regina of wonder, Regina of might,
Regina of royal beauty bright.

We Three Kings Of Orient Are
from the Christmas Song Generator.
