Today's big news is that I didn't get the permanent job at the CCRC. However I am still their delightful Temp8 until they've checked the person they've hired doesn't have any criminal convictions, etc, etc. So... err... yay?
Still, I managed to slap a big smile on my face during the chat with our HR lady which was probably just as well because she did give me some useful feedback regarding the interview (which is basically what let me down) and now I'll know for next time, right?
Onto the better news though - I wrote two of the Christmas fics that people requested while at work today and finished off another before I even left the house this morning! I'm trying to plan how I'm going to get them to people, whether by email/post/LJ etc but my current idea is entitled The Twelve Days of Fic-mas... which kind of says it all really ^__^
And I was going to post this an hour ago, but then I got distracted by boy-pronAtobe ♥ Alas, this means that the emails I was going to send tonight will have to wait till morning... *yawns* Good grief I need sleep...
