Guardians of the Galaxy
Saw the latest MCU movie Friday night, at the Swancon screening. I'd been expecting a Hiest movie, based on the trailer and the appearance of the Collector in Thor 2. As it was, there WAS a heist, but it was only a minor plot element. Lots of fun, but some of the set pieces are turning up in more than one CMU movie, so that's getting a bit repetitive. I was nonetheless highly entertained, although the direction was a bit pedestrian (camera angles were noticeably rather ordinary) - but overall, a glorious space opera romp. And the filthiest joke in the CMU movies so far.
Groot (as played by Vine Treesel?) was the best part of the movie :)
