Attention (my) students:
Hey guys. I should have made a note earlier, but as general policy, a quick addendum. Because classes are slow-played for the benefit of players in all time zones, you CAN NOT (from now on, like I said, my bad for not being clear) say another player is late because you happen to be online when classes go up, and post first.
This is especially true for days like today, when I split you in groups. It's okay to head over to a lab station, etc. and be the first person there, and say so. It is also okay to play a thread with a classmate, in, let's say, a group project, if one person isn't around yet.
But don't say the other person was late to class, or otherwise dictate their play. Because that's not gravy.
I like doing stuff like group projects, open discussions, etc. but it won't continue if we can't work around this in game. Please be open-ended as much as you can be, and give other players wiggle room like 'I went to the bathroom' or 'I dropped my notebook and all my papers' to explain an interlude in which they were probably not present. Because activities always happen after Grissom's lectures and hand-outs and boring crap, so if they are late to the project, they are REALLY late. And we want to be respectful of our friend's with inferior different time zones.
If you have an issues/problems from now on, give me a ping on AIM or e-mail me. Like I said, my mistake, but from now on I hope it won't be an issue. Cool?
