About the COUNTRY, yes. However, it's an undeniable fact that Mr. Jones is a moron.

He may represent stereotypes but I believe it is best to advise him with hard facts rather than antagonize him. While a amateur attempting to be a specialist can be more dangerous than an enemy, an improperly supervised amateur can cause even more harm.
