Well, maybe not quite easy. But still decent. The lack of money sucks balls, but the abundance of good friends and random adventures makes up for that.
I swear I'm looking for job... tomorrow.
Yesterday we went to Lac Phillipe into these caves. It was a super cool Goonies-type adventure.
GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE!
It was really beautiful. You know despite all the french people, I really like Quebec. Some of the kids talked about going to Montreal tonight because it's St. John Baptiste day and the french go nuts. Not for me.
Anyway, the caves... the day started out a little rocky and I wasn't even sure that I was going to go, but I'm glad I did. It was a nice drive, we stoped off in Wakefield to visit Sam and Abby and the gang. The kids were there again. Which is cool, they'll be there all summer so it'll be extra fun to visit. Off we go to the park, BEAUTIFUL. A lake instead of a river for once so the water was DELICIOUSLY warm. It was a good half an hour hike to the caves themselves, but it was also super beautiful. The caves themselves were AWESOME. I mean really cool. At one point, the ground really looked like a stone waterslide. You had to crouch down and dip your whole body in the water to maneouver. Super cool.
I'll get pics up soon, but I brought the wrong cord so y'all have to wait.
On a side note, I've been missing Vancouver extremely. I've been plotting my escape. And, if I got a decent paying job soon and didn't blow it all on usless shit, I could, in theory head back out next May/June. It would be nice.
We shall see.
Things are pretty good though.
The weather is delightful.
Now if we could only conjure up a thunderstorm...
hehe.
